Another thing I guess I can fill my gallery here with.
Actually, it was a class assignment. Seems to reach people more than my lame comic work.
Beauty and the Beast, although that's...particularly obvious. The class assignment was a storybook illustration, hence the wording up top, so apologies if it bothers you.
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire Cat. "I dont know." Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesnt matter."
I love it when the beast is extremely horrid and scary. The contrast is so much greater. I love the coloring, I can't watercolor to save my life... The little highlights on the beast's mouth is the best ;]
Very Nice I like the overall quality and style of it. The piece has a very art nuevo quality to it. I love the color pallet and the loose way you applied it to your line work. The only thing negative I could say about it is here hands which are not proportional and her left hand the palm is to long for the fingers.
Great composition.

I love your take on this. It shows a great deal of emotion and the style is very interesting. I really like how you did the lighting in particular (seeing as how most people go very dark with that particular scene) Wonderful stuff
