Ah, was about time I brought the pens out again. And drew a dragon.
Done on bristol board with many different pens, such as Microns, uniballs, prisma maskers, whiteout, iber-Castel PITT pens....etc.etc. Was drawn on an 9X12 board. As with most of my images....full view Daily DeviationGiven 2005-10-08Big Horn by *nanya is incredibly rich of detail yet still maintaining a high level of clarity and contrast. The subtle use of color in this traditional drawing perfectly matches the mythical subject of an old creaky dragon. These technical details aside, this majestic artwork would dominate every wall it hangs on. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
