Unfortunately I've never been able to celebrate haloween with dressing up, we just don't do it here in Australia

I wanted to make a big pumpkinman\jackolatern suit with extended hands and legs to look all lanky like!

You're exactly right. I figure society is a factor in why Hallowe'en just isn't what it used to be. When I let that feeling sink in, it puts me on the verge of tears. Honestly.

I dress up every year... for the past 17 years. Well, soon to be 17th halloween. Anywho... it is more of a shame that people don't respect the holiday so much these days... nor take time to get candy and answer the door...

... or allow certian halloween costumes at school.. (not allowed-witches, wizards, magic, demons, wings, horns, weapons, negative symbols, religious symbols, distracting costumes, no costumes.)

Halloween is my favorite holiday. My brother is 12, and he doesn't get dressed up and all excited and trick or treat anymore. I'm 14, and I will continue to do so for a long time.

I love costumes and cosplay and anything along those lines...therefore I continue to dress up every halloween...even if I'm just sitting around the house or something, I care not....I am going to dress up in a costume and enjoy what is, to me, the best part of halloween...
Or I go hide in the bushes and howl like a coyote for all the little squirmies...*cackles*
I love the shading and detail in your work, as always. It's interesting to stare at the picture and try to determine whether the blood and body are more to help represent the death of halloween as you suggest it...or if there was an actual person wearing that pumpkin. Fun fun...
